This policy describes how MyShare ("we", "us") handles information in the MyShare mobile app and on shared receipt pages served from this website.

What we collect

• Receipt data. When you generate a share link, the item names, prices, and quantities from your scanned receipt are stored on our servers (Google Firebase) so the link can be viewed by the people you share it with. Receipt photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
• Advertising identifiers. The app and shared receipt pages show ads served by Google (AdMob in the app, AdSense on the web). Google may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage signals to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's advertising policies.

What we don't collect

MyShare has no user accounts. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, or precise location.

Advertising

Ads keep MyShare free. In regions where consent is required (e.g. the EEA and UK), the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads; you can decline and receive non-personalized ads instead. Shared receipt pages may use cookies set by Google to serve ads; see how Google uses cookies.

Data retention & deletion

Shared receipts remain available at their link so your group can refer back to them. To request deletion of a receipt, contact us with the link and we will remove it.

Children

MyShare is not directed at children under 13.
